Today’s “Card of the Day” is brought to you straight from my mail box. On the day after Christmas, I received a PWE that initially pissed me off. At first I thought I’d been defrauded by another eBayer (it would have been the third this week to use an less-than-expected method of shipping). But instead it turned out that the envelope was one I had sent out way back in March to the Reds’ spring training facility. Read more »

In my mind, the fifth anniversary of Upper Deck was a rousing success. The fact that the company moved to an all-glossy front for most cards and used full-bled photos for inserts really made for an attractive product. Need proof? Good news is that I only paid $2 for the shipping and the seller used two stamps, so he only profited a buck or so. Cheap bastard. Read more »

Such a bad ass, huh?
The clerk thought it was funny. His reaction: “Alright!!!” Obviously he was being sarcastic. Read more »
