Upper Deck announced Monday the nominees for three awards it is giving away to the card collecting community. And I am honored (yeah, I said it) to say that this blog, Cardboard Icons, is one of 14 blogs that have been nominated for “Best Blog.” I don’t care how much of a gray cloud has been cast over these awards, fact is this blog is one of those that was nominated. True, there are more than 100 blogs that should be on the list, but this is not something I can change. And I am not about to apologize for being nominated for this award, and actually wanting to win. So, if you’re so inclined, go vote for whomever you wish. Polls close Monday at 9 a.m.
