The Best Nickel Ever Spent: 2001 Bowman Chrome Cody Ross rookie

Back in March, I wrote the 24th edition of Thirft Treasures. In it, I detailed my find of what appeared to be the scraps of someone’s failed rookie prospecting expedition. It now appears that among the heap of Chrome rookies I salvaged from the thrift store, I also rescued the best rookie card of the 2010 National league Championship Series Most Valuable Player, Cody Ross.

I’m a Red Sox fan through and through, but make no bones about it, I am rooting for the “hometown” San Francisco Giants in the upcoming World Series.

  1. Id give 2 nickels for that sweet card, and i havent bought cards in awhile. I even quit looking at them on ebay lol. Cool post. I’m glad the giants and rangers made it to the WS.
