Black Friday Hauls

109_0796For the first time in my life, I actually went to the stores this morning (Black Friday) like all the other people whom I’d made fun of in the past. My wife and her sisters usually go, and had this been a normal year, I would have been inclined to stay home and sleep. After all, I do have to work today.

But you see, my wife is seven months pregnant with our first child (a girl) and there is no way in hell I’d let her go out there by herself. I knew she had some larger items she needed to carry, and her primary target (Kohls) does not have really user-friendly baskets. So I dragged my ass out of bed on four hours rest (this coming after a sleepless night the day before) to assist. Continue reading
