So the last week or two I’ve been kind of lazy when it comes to writing about baseball cards. I actually intended to write this post last weekend but I got caught up doing other things. Such is life.
Anywho, last Saturday my wife, daughter, mother-in-law and I hit up a local high school flea market. These things really are hit and miss, usually the latter. Lots of home-made jewelry, busted bicycles and other odds and ends. But on this day there were some cards, and not just box sets of 1990 Fleer or Donruss. Today, there was a guy with a 3,200 count box of fairly current cards. The price: 6 cards for $1. I decided to dig through the box, giving myself a $5 limit. Here’s the 30-card haul. Continue reading
